Angelia Corrine Knapp, 52, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away August 16, 2021. She was born August 24, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois to Glenn and Bonnie (Jackson) Gabriel.
Angelia proudly served in the United States Navy. Upon leaving the military, she began working at Falcon Jet. Angelia had a sharp, outgoing personality full of wit and was so humorous that her family considered her a comedian. Her favorite hobby was going junking at flea markets in search of treasures to keep or resell. Angelia was honest as a day is long- don’t ask her for advice or her opinion if you don’t want to hear the truth. She didn’t mince words and was quick to tell you just what she thought. Family was everything to Angelia. She was 100% a Daddy’s girl, looked forward to large family gatherings, and adored her grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Angelia was a giver-she would give you her last dime and was always willing to help anyone with anything they may need-expecting nothing in return.
Preceding Angelia in death are her father, Glenn Gabriel; brother, Steve Gabriel; sister, Sandy Gabriel; and a favorite uncle she was so close to, Darby Jackson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of twenty-one years, Phillip Knapp of Bauxite, Arkansas; sons: Zack Knapp of Bauxite, Arkansas, James Moss of Austin, Arkansas, and John Moss of Cabot, Arkansas; daughter, Skyla Milner and husband Brent of Killeen, Texas; two grandchildren: Zoe Moss and Corrine Moss; brothers: John Gabriel and wife Donna of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ricky Gabriel and wife Connie of Cabot, Arkansas, Greg Gabriel of Benton, Arkansas, and Bill Hobson of White Hall, Arkansas; sister, JoAnn butler of McRay, Arkansas; special fur-baby, Dexter; and many family members and friends who love Angelia and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from Noon-1:00 PM, Monday, August 23, with funeral service following at 1:00 PM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
