Angela Gardner

Angela C. Gardner, 78, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Angela was born on March 24, 1931 in the Bronx, NY to Lilyan and Anthony Colitti. She graduated from Centenary College in Shreveport La. with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She was a devoted military wife for twenty three years. In 1976, upon her husband's retirement from the Air Force, they established their home in North Little Rock, Arkansas where they raised their five children.
She is survived by her husband, Col. (USAF Ret.) Harvey S. Gardner, Jr., of North Little Rock; three daughters, Colette Gardner, of Stanford, Connecticut, Donnalee Nichols (Ed), of North Little Rock and Lilyan Tanner (Larry) of Hensley; two sons, Harvey Gardner, III (Sissy), of North Little Rock and Anthony P. Gardner, of Hensley; and thirteen grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church-School, 7000 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday followed by a Rosary service at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
