Angel Sunsuray Dodson Head, 42, of Benton lost her battle with cancer on July 25, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. Angel was born on September 24, 1973 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Diane J. Dodson. She was a graduate of Glen Rose High School. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Celebration Baptist Church.
Angel was a stay at home mom, she enjoyed spending time at the lake, camping, fishing and boat rides. Spending time with family and friends was very important to her. She was the life of the party.
Angel was preceded in death by her dad, James Logan Denley; maternal grandfather, Dan Dodson; and nephew, Logan Jack Denley. Angel is survived by Jack Speer III, of Glen Rose; two daughters, Chastiy and Katlen Head, of Glen Rose; her parents, John and Diana Deckard, of Benton; one brother, Jason Denley (Brandi), of Benton; three sisters, Michelle Denley, of Roselle, IL, Kim Denley, of North Little Rock and Kim Masoner, of Malvern; and a host of family and friends that she loved dearly.
Funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton. Reception/Visitation will follow service. Services entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
