Andrew Sacrey, Jr. of North Little Rock passed away at home on Sunday, December 26, 2016. Andy was born on January 8, 1940 in North Little Rock to his parents, Andrew Sr. and Cora Bell. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patti Sacrey; 2 sons, John Sacrey (Anita) and James Sacrey (Angelica); granddaughter Madison Johnson; and a multitude of life-long friends. He was a lifetime NRA member and a state employee for 46 years.
Andy graduated from North Little Rock High in 1957 and from Arkansas Tech with B.S. in Business in 1962. He married the love of his life, Patti, in 1964, and the couple was known for being supportive parents to their sons. Andy began his career with the state PC&E in 1963 served as CFO for 25+ years. He finished his state career at DIS in 2010. His friends and family will remember him for his loyalty, generosity, and clever sense of humor.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Friday, December 30, 2016 at Edgewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street.
