Andrew "Andy" Anthony Cotter, 94, passed away on October 31, 2015. He was born January 5, 1921 in North Little Rock, to the late Thomas and Anna (Metzer) Cotter. Andy was a WWII Army Veteran of the 188th Signal Corp Division being involved in three battle campaigns in the Rhineland, Central Europe and Normandy receiving four bronze service stars. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of employment. Andy was a devout Catholic and a loving father, who was an inspiration to his daughters and family. He enjoyed gardening, grilling on weekends and spending time with his family. He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved watching Razorback football with his daughters.
Andy was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Winnie (Evans) Cotter; his precious great-grandson, Jordan Chance Snow; brother, Tommy Cotter, twin brother, Bernie Cotter; sisters, Agnes Keltner and Mary Quattlebaum. He is survived by his loving daughters, Sharon Treece of Little Rock, and Susan Pinckard of Richmond, VA; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., November 4th, 2015 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 6219 Baseline Rd., Little Rock. Visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., with Rosary to follow. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Online guestbook at
