Andrew James

Andrew Aulton James, 70, of Maumelle passed from this life on October 18, 2020. He was born November 10, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Joe and Mary Elizabeth Baxley James. Andrew was of the Episcopal faith. He loved all kinds of music and was a member of the Retreat Singers, a traveling gospel music group in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Special thanks to the family of Jimmy Giles.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-one years, Martha Mobley James, children, David Anderson (Teresa Villarreal) of North Little Rock, Cicely Orr of Little Rock, and sister, Paige Harper (Nancy Polley) of Indiana. Other survivors include five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at Maumelle Park, 9009 Pinnacle Valley Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72223. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home.
