Andrew Doyle Coe, 88 passed away on Wednesday March 7, 2012 in Ocala, Florida. Born in Hot Springs, AR. he moved to Ocala in 1988. He served in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War as a 1st Lieutenant. He was a professor of Mathematics at Westark Community College. He also worked as the Assistant Principle at Hot Springs High School where President Bill Clinton was his student for three years. He served 2nd Baptist Church of Hot Springs as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and choir member. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and Razorback football. He loved his family and was proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Faye Coe of Ocala; Bruce Coe of Houston, TX; Kimberly Coe Miros (Steve) of Ocala; grandchildren, Hope Coe Jones, Karis Coe, Andrew Miros, Matthew Miros, and Thomas Miros; two great grandchildren, Grace and Ave Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, March 10, 2012 at Hiers- Baxley Funeral Services- Ocala Chapel, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala with Dr. Mickey Graves officiating. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday March 17, 2012 at Phillipi Cemetery.
