Andrew L Childress

Andrew L. Childress, age 86 of Ward, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 17, 2022.  He was born February 12, 1936 to Earnest Childress and Daisy Harris Childress in North Little Rock, Arkansas.  He retired from the North Little Rock Fire Department as a Captain.

He is survived by his children, Ann Patterson of Austin, Brian Childress of Sherwood, Clay and Margie Worlow of North Little Rock, Cline and Sheila Worlow of Oklahoma, Lana and Allen Swartzmiller of New York, Chris and Summer Worlow of Carlisle; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, two brothers and one sister.

The family will receive friends and family Friday evening, May 20, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smith Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Service on Saturday, May 21, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Smith Westbrook, with burial at 1:00 p.m. at Cameron Cemetery.
