Amy Tustison

Amy Catherine (Lago) Tustison, 39 of North Little Rock, AR died October 30, 2016 peacefully at home. She was born in Little Rock, AR on January 7, 1977 to parents Emilio and Barbara (Ricker) Lago. She is survived by her parents, brother, Christoper Lago, nephew Anthony Lago of Ward, AR, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Tustison, and grandparents Emilio F. and Catherine (Petri) Lago and Walter H. and Ardelle (Beauregard) Ricker.
Amy attended Sylvan Hills High School and graduated with honors in 1995, receiving the Presidential Award for Educational Excellence. Amy graduated cum laude in 1999 from UALR with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Anthropology. She was also a Donaghey Scholar and in her junior year studied in Spain.
Amy was an avid Kindle reader, always waiting for the next book. She loved Game of Thrones, music, and attending concerts with her friends --one of her passions that helped her maintain strong relationships with so many of her friends. She was a loyal Starbucks customer. She loved her animals, Izzy, Patton, Arya and especially Bertha and Abby. She was a Razorbacks fan through and through.
She loved her nephew Anthony very much (her little partner in crime!!) She doted upon him whenever possible.
She was a bright spot in so many peoples lives. She devoted her life to helping the employees of the State of Arkansas and Public School Employees and Retirees for the Employee Benefits Division.
Amy touched so many lives and her long adventures will continue on the other side with all of her friends and pets that left before her. She may be gone but will never be forgotten and those of us who knew her, know that they will meet her again and continue the adventure.
