Amy Elizabeth Morley passed away on Tuesday, June 26th in Little Rock Arkansas, the city where she was born.
The daughter of Dina Morley of Little Rock, and Judge Randy Morley of North Little Rock, Amy was joyfully welcomed into the world on March 28th, 1988.
After graduating from Little Rock Episcopal High School with honors in 2006, Amy chose to attend the Walton Honors College of Business at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.
Amy had completed her first year at the University with nearly a 4.0 grade point average.
Her grandparents Ruth and Judge Dean Morley of North Little Rock, and her grandfather Donald McCormick of Canton, Mississippi, precede her in death.
In addition to her parents, Amy is survived by her brother Kip Watkins of Addison, Texas, her sister Angela Watkins of Jackson, Mississippi, and her grandmother Corine Stein of Ridgeland, Mississippi, as well as numerous cousins, uncles, aunts and a host of friends.
Taking after her grandmother Ruth (Nonnie), Amy was a talented pianist with a deep love for music and dance.
She was an adventurous young woman who loved to travel and spend time with her many friends.
She will be remembered for her deep compassion for other people as well as her irreverent sense of humor.
This remembrance is completely incapable of capturing the love and spirit of Amy known so well to all of her family and friends.
All of us who knew and loved her will miss her very much.
There will be a visitation at the North Little Rock Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Funeral Services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock.
Pallbearers are Matt Edwards, Jackson Whitfield, Andrew King, Tad Alford, Charles Davis, Tommy Alderson, Eddie Holcomb, and David Hesselbein.
Memorials may be made to the Wolfe Street Foundation at 1210 Wolfe Street, Little Rock, 72202; the Humane Society of Pulaski County at 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, 72210; Episcopal Collegiate School Foundation, 1701 Cantrell Road, Little Rock, 72201.
