Amanda Tucker
Amanda Davis Tucker, 99, of Little Rock, passed away November 13, 2011. She was born in Little Rock to William H. and Erma Thomas Davis and was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was active in the PEO Chapter AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Tucker, Sr., sons, O.D. Tucker V and Jack R. Tucker, Jr. She is survived by her two grandchildren, Ren Tucker and wife, Paige of Little Rock and Lauren Garaputa of Conway; daughters-in-law, Carol Tucker of Little Rock and Cyndy Grivich of Memphis, Tennessee; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17 at First United Methodist Church, 8th and Center, officiated by Rev. Dr. Michael Mattox, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jack R. Tucker, Jr. Travel Grant, AIA Memphis, 511 South Main, Memphis, TN 38103.
