Amanda McInturff
Amanda Louise (Vanderford) McInturff, 94, of Sherwood passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010. She was born February 6, 1915 in Judsonia, Arkansas to Charles C. and Laura Jane Vanderford.
She married Virgle D. McInturff on September 16, 1932. They both were charter members of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ. She retired from the Pulaski County School System.
She is survived by three sons, Charles McInturff, of Rogers, Dan McInturff (Linda), of Sherwood and Jim McInturff (Debbie), of Jonesboro; daughter, Jane Gann, of Sherwood; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made to Sylvan Hills Medical Mission, 117 West Maryland Avenue, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Wingfield and Greg Clark officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
