Amanda Martin

Amanda Sue Martin, 55, of Gravel Ridge passed away after a long battle against breast cancer Sunday, September 18, 2011. Amanda was a banker, last employed with Eagle Bank in Little Rock. Her favorite place was on the beach in Destin, Florida, and she loved sunbathing, even in her yard when she couldn't be at the beach. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Charlie Martin, of Gravel Ridge; two sons, Ryan Dille and wife, Kristin, of Jacksonville and SPC Ross Dille, of Killeen, Texas; step-son, Allen Martin and wife, Robyn, of Sherwood; mother, Alice Taylor; father, William Burton and wife, Rita; grandsons, Keegan and Kaleb; brothers, William Burton and wife, Leslie, Matthew Burton and wife, Rose and brother-in-law, Lance Martin and wife, Kathy.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mazher and the staff of Arkansas Oncology, the doctors and staff at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock and the Extended Care Unit at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 904 Autumn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
