Amanda Dawn Craven

Amanda D. Craven of Beebe, Arkansas, born December 27, 1982, passed away December 16, 2024. She attended the Pilgrim Nazarene Church in Cabot, Arkansas. She worked at the Beebe Vet Clinic for many years and eventually opened her own pet grooming shop. She worked there until she became disabled, and Pam, her special helper, continued the shop for her. Amanda loved her Toggenburg goats and baby calves. She always seemed to know how to handle any problem with her animals.

Amanda liked playing the bass guitar and was good at it. She also enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. Quite the prankster, Amanda loved to tease and carry on, especially with Cousin Steve. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roy Craven; uncle, Tim Cross and uncle, Charley and aunt, Frances Craven.

Amanda is survived by her parents, Gary and Veronica Craven of Beebe; brother Alan (Karen) Craven of Beebe; sister Jessica (Joe) Haley of Detroit, MI; special niece, Joanna Haley; grandparents Leon and Shirley Cross of Beebe; grandmother Annette Craven of Searcy; special cousin Steve Craven of Conway; two uncles, Jim (Teresa) Craven of Beebe and Billy Craven of Texas; several cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a monetary donation to Amanda’s family to help with her final expenses.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Dr., Beebe, Arkansas, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
