Alyson Lauer Craig, 36, of North Little Rock passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2007.
Alyson was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She had a compassionate heart and a generous spirit. On many occasions, she literally gave the coat off her back and the last penny in her pocket to those less fortunate. As a former Little Rock police officer, she had a particular soft spot for children and animals. She kept toys, candy and pet food in her police car in case there was a need. She was adored by her son, nephew and nieces who gravitated towards her larger than life personality.
She is survived by her husband, David Craig, and son, John Quentin, her parents, Jo and Quentin Lauer, her sister, Erica Suskie and her husband Paul and their children, Paul Christopher and Lily; her brother, Brent Lauer and his wife, Clare, and their daughter, Caroline. She will be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.
Vigil service will be held on Thursday, April 12th, at 7:00 P.M., at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 13th at 9:30 A.M., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7000 JFK Blvd., in North Little Rock.
