Alvin Ray Collins, age 55, of Caddo Gap, died Monday, January 17, 2011. He was born on March 21, 1955, at Hot Springs, the son of Roy Washington Collins and Mary Kathleen Price Collins. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Josh and Jill Collins of Kirby and Jacob Collins of Hot Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Richard Cogburn of Hopper; six grandchildren; four brothers and their spouses, Earl and Carol Ann Collins of Delaware, James and Carolyn Collins of Texas, Raimon and Maxine Collins of Caddo Gap and Gary Collins of Amity; four sisters and their spouses, Mary Kay and George Vaughn of San Antonio, Texas, Rachel and John Turner of Caddo Gap, Rose Ana Collins of Sterling City, Texas and Adrienne Hendrix of Antoine; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 AM, Thursday, January 20, 2011, in the Oak Grove Cemetery, near Caddo Gap, with Bro. Kevin Jewell officiating.
