Alvin J. Henson, 66, of Jacksonville, a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, died November 21, 2018. He was born in Little Rock to D. Sam Henson and Eunice Esther Dumas.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Roberts, Shirley Smith, Irma Wilson, Mary Cannon, Sharon Underwood, Sandra King; brothers, Winfred Henson and James H. Henson; and a host of other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, sisters, Odessa Henson and Sammie J. Henson, and brothers, Clifton Henson, Charles Henson, Sam Henson, Jr. and Ricky D. Henson.
Funeral services with Military Honors will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
