Alvin Hardin

Alvin Hardin age 79, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at his home. He was born in Bismarck, AR February 15, 1928 the son of Wallis D. and Edna Almond Hardin.

He was a retired supervisor for Weyerhauser and a member of Oaklawn United Methodist Church in Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by a daughter Deborah Kaye Boone.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Small Hardin, one son John Alvin Hardin of Hot Springs and one daughter Chris Holzer also of Hot Springs, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-4 P.M. Saturday, August 4, 2007 in the Oaklawn United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 216 Higdon Ferry Rd., Hot Springs. Memorials may be made to the Church building fund at the same address.

Graveside funeral services will be 10 A.M. Monday, August 6, 2007 in the DeRoche Cemetery with Rev. Bonda Moyer officiating under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be John and John Robert Hardin, Rick and Andrew Holzer, Michael Hines and Steve Boone. Honorary pallbearers: Dr. Baharany, Dr. William Cole, Danny Loy, and Dollie and Shawn of Superior Senior Care.
