Alta Martin

Alta Lavern Martin, 67, of North Little Rock passed away January 29, 2019.  She was born July 9, 1951 to the late Elvis and Evelyn Ledbetter Fryar in Oden, Arkansas.  Alta was a hardworking, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was known as the “sweetest woman in the whole world.”  Alta retired from Kroger on McCain Blvd and was a member of First Pentecostal Church.

Alta is survived by her husband of 48 years, Roy Martin; son, Nathan (Kimberly) Martin; daughter, Lisa (Sam) Crook; six grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Kaleigh, Aaron, Morgan, Lucas; four great-grandchildren, Leyton, Easton, Eli, and Chloe; three sisters, Bonnie Brenning, Lou Robinson,  and Sharon Williams.

Memorials may be made in her honor to First Pentecostal Church.

Visitation will be Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM with funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM at First Pentecostal Church, 1401 Calvary Road, North Little Rock 72116.  Burial will follow at Weeden Cemetery, County Road 828.
