Alta Sue Butts Ferguson age 75, of Dumas, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014. She was born December 26, 1938 in Nashville, Arkansas to Madison and Velma May Butts. Sue was raised in Arkadelphia where she attended school and Henderson State University. She was a member of Arkadelphia Second Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Shawna Jill Ferguson Johnson and one sister, Patsy Ruth Butts Little.
Survivors are her husband of fifty-eight years, Rehnea B. Ferguson; one daughter, Susan Ferguson Dunahoo and her husband, Blane of Atlanta Georgia; one grandson, Sage McKinnon of Jacksonville, Florida and one brother-in-law, Robert Little of Jena, Louisiana.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 15th at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphia.
