Alpha Omega Burkhalter

February 11, 1956 - November 16, 2022
Alpha Omega Burkhalter, age 66, of Little Rock, AR passed away peacefully on
Wedsnesday, November 16, 2022 in Hospice care due to pancreatic cancer. She
was born in Louisville, Kentucky, and is preceded in death by her husband,
Bryan Burkhalter, and brother, Johnny Sidebottom.

She is survived by her brother, Roger Sidebottom of McKinney, TX and her two
children, Michael Williams (Robyn) of Seattle, Washington, and Amanda
Cabaniss Rogers (Brandon) of Little Rock. She dearly loved and was most
proud of her five grandchildren: Lola, Luna and Phoenix Rogers of Little
Rock and Brooklyn and Scarlett Williams of Seattle.

Alpha moved to Little Rock in 1989 and began attending Trinity United
Methodist Church where she quickly claimed her favorite pew, volunteered her
time in the office, helped with confirmation classes and vacation bible
school among other things.  She was a gifted cook and always served enough
to feed an army. She loved animals and cared for any stray dog or cat that
crossed her path. She had multiple step children and treated them like they
were her own. She was teased for having her Christmas decorations up before
Halloween every year, but her spirit of giving to others especially those
close to her or those who were in need lasted all year round.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18 at 2:30 pm at Trinity
United Methodist Church in Little Rock with a visitation immediately
following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Friends of
Animal Village at www.friendsoftheanimalvillage.org
