Alois Joe Banaszak, 84, of Marche, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009. He was born July 4, 1925 to the late Edward and Antonia Banaszak. He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He was employed with Silbernagel Company Incorporated for 38 years. After retirement he enjoyed working in the garden, sitting in the back yard visiting and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, two daughters, Candy Ward (Jerry),of Marche and Gloria Palmer, of Lonoke; two sisters, Cecilia Zakrzewski and Irene Banaszak, of Marche; two brothers and sister-in-law, Edmond Banaszak and Victor and Theresa Banaszak; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
