Almeda "Phadella" Tyree

Almeda “Phadella” Tyree, 87 of Royal, Arkansas, who was known by most as Ellie, she went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2025, she passed peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was born on February 26, 1937, in Dyess Colony, Arkansas, to the late James Thomas Pate and Dorothy Nell (Brumley) Pate. 

A devoted follower of Christ, Almeda lived her life with unwavering faith always putting her love for the Lord first. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, and will be remembered for her warm smile, infectious laughter, and joy she found in simply being surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; four siblings; two sons, Robert Lee Seale and Gary Wayne Seale; one daughter Mary Lou Seale; two grandsons, Randy Wayne Moncus and Robert Jason Seale; and her loving husband, Allen Don Tyree. 

Almeda, a beloved mother and grandmother, is survived by her two daughters: her caregiver Diane (Randy) Moncus of Royal and Betty (Larry) Brinkley of Murfreesboro; five granddaughters, Michelle (Danny) Travis of Bonnerdale, Kelly (Travis) Sluder of Royal, Dena Lee of Chico, Sandy Brinkley of Tyler, and Christina (Brian) Arnold of Magnolia; twelve great grandchildren, Angela, Courtney, Justin, Bryan, Haylee, Adysson, Jacob, Monica, Alex, Alyssa, Bowen, and Cage; eleven great-great grandchildren; two brothers, John and James Pate; host of nieces and nephews and special friend Susan Stevens.

Pallbearers: Justin Tigue, Bryan Sluder, Dustin Hicks, Bradley Wisener, Bentley Jenkins, and Tucker Loudermilk

Honorary Pallbearers: Randy Moncus, Larry Brinkley, Danny Travis, and Travis Sluder

 Visitation will be held on February 28, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith Family Funeral Home, 2205 Airport Road, Hot Springs. Services will be held on March 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Smith and a burial to follow at Peak Cemetery. 

God called your name so softly, that only you could hear, and no one heard the footsteps, of angels drawing near. The golden gates stood open, God saw you needed rest His garden must be beautiful. He only takes the best.
