Alma Wheeler

Alma Jean Wheeler, age 89, of Alexander, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her daughter’s home, where she lived for the past four years.  She was born July 11, 1931 to the late William Caver and Alma Jackson Caver in Amity.  Alma is also preceded in death by her brother, Jim Caver.

Alma was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.  She was a bookkeeper and later in life went back to school to become a Nurse.

Alma is survived by her children, Tammy Burr (Carl) of Alexander, William Lance Wheeler of Irving, TX; grandson, Matthew Burr (Kelley) of Bismarck; granddaughter, Jennifer Fuller (Chris) of Lampe, MO; and great-grandchildren: Alexis and Christian Fuller of Lampe, MO.

Graveside Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Jones Cemetery in Amity.  Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.  COVID-19 Mandates: Face Coverings and Social Distancing Required.
