Alma Maurice

Alma Pearl (Cole) Maurice, 92, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away October 25, 2021. She was born September 18, 1929 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Redmon H. Harding and Dulie Willis Harding.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband and father of her children, Paul Cole; children, Marsha Kay Pemperton, Cleaus Allan Cole, Mary Ann Gunter. Alma is survived by her children, Linda Faye Bradford (J.R.) of Florida, Bill Cole (Wendy) of Illinois, Debbie V. Duncan of Arkansas, Paul Redmon Cole of Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Karen Cole.

Alma was a foster parent and loved working with children. She had a special place in her heart and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She ran restaurants and service stations here in Arkansas and Illinois. She enjoyed working with her customers and in the service industry. She worked hard and persevered through tough times. She was a member of Faith Freewill Bible Church. She loved Jesus and looked forward to being reunited with family.

Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street) with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private burial at Landmark Cemetery.
