Alma King

Alma "Carol" King, 82, of Little Rock, passed to eternal life on Saturday, October 11, 2014. She was a loving, caring, mother of five children; Vicki (Jim) Palmer, Butch (Debbie) King, Melody (Dutch) Campbell, Scott (Pat) King, and Bryan (Dee) King; and grandmother to 15 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Francis Garrett, and son, Scott. She is survived by one sister, Lois Angle of Glouster, Ohio.

Carol retired from the Department of Defense, where she worked as a data entry operator. She had a beautiful smile that touched many and encouraged those she contacted. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and attendants that cared for our mother; and the staff at Hospice Home Care.

Visitation will be at North Little Rock Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 14, 2014 beginning at 6:00 pm, with the Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 15, at 1:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church, 7000 JFK Blvd, NLR, with Father Tom Elliott presiding. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Cemetery, Sherwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Immaculate Conception Church, NLR. Online guest register at www.smithfamilycares.com .
