Alma Dodson
Alma Cook Dodson age 92 of Caddo Valley passed away Friday, May 7, 2010 in Sherman, TX. She was born in Clark County June 25, 1917 the daughter of J. D. and Nell Allen Cook. She was retired from Safeway and a member of the Caddo Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, W. A. "Chuck" Dodson, and her daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Joe Ed Petty.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law Kay and James Williams of Gunter, TX, one brother, Elton Cook of Hot Springs, grandchildren, Liz Petty of Campbell, TX, Tony Petty of Arkadelphia, Craig Williams of Frisco, TX, Barry Williams of Plano, TX and two great grandchildren, Brooke and Graeme Williams of Frisco, TX.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia with Dr. Marvin Pate officiating. Burial will be in the Caddo Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Caddo Valley Cemetery C/O John Frazier, 208 E. Dodson St, Caddo Valley, AR 71923.
