Allie Pearl Ray, 81, of Little Rock, passed away January 27, 2014. She was born in White County, Arkansas to Edward H. and Effie Mae Neighbors Gotherman and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond L. Ray, son, Phillip Collins, brothers, Bill, Henry and Jimmy Gotherman, and sister, Nell Acree. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Holmes of Alexander and Janie Diggs and husband, Mark of Little Rock; grandchildren, Melissa Armstrong (Rae), Amy Evans, David Taylor, Holly Warrington (Eric) and Kris Taylor; brother, Bud Gotherman (Shirley) of Hot Springs; and sister, Alice Mason (Bob) of Bismarck; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The graveside service will be Wednesday, January 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Saline County, officiated by Rev. Allen Morton.
