Allen Vaughn

Allen Vaughn, age 45, of Glenwood, won his victory to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

He was born in Effingham, Illinois on February 4, 1979. The son of Richard Allan Vaughn and Cathy Mobley Hardage. He is preceded in death by his father; and his two brothers, Stephen Vaughn and Clarence Vaughn.

Allen married the love of his life, Angela Caldwell Vaughn, on March 1, 1997. Affectionately known as “Big Al” or “Al” by many but also an amazing Husband, Father, "Poppy," Son, Brother, and friend by all. He was a member of Community Bible Baptist Church. He worked at Resolute Lumber as a Forklift driver but was also known to be phenomenal at construction. Allen could build anything out of anything. He loved to hunt, fish, grill, but more than anything he loved being with his family. Allen will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Vaughn of Glenwood; his children, Destiny Vaughn of Glenwood, Chaz and Abby Vaughn of Mountain Pine, and Kane Vaughn of Glenwood; his "Grandblessings," Ace Rodriguez and Sophia Vaughn; his mother, Cathy Hardage of Caddo Gap; his sister, Stephanie Wheeler of Caddo Gap; his father-in-law, Danny Caldwell; his mother-in-law, Pat Brashear; and his many special loved ones who he called family and friends.
