Allen R Hildreth, age 82, of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
Allen was born on June 2, 1938, in Hot Springs, the son of Ledger Hildreth and Louise Green Hildreth. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Darlene Hildreth; and step-daughter, Rebecca Chambers.
Allen was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed fishing as often as it was possible; and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Allen is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Stacy Hildreth of Naperville, Illinois; his daughters and son-in-law, Tammy Hildreth and Theresa Hildreth, both of Hot Springs; step-daughter and her spouse, Kimberly and Jimmy Thompson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Caroline Everett, Benjamin Beene, Rachel Everett and Mathew Beene; his brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Penny Jones of Hot Springs; his sisters and brother-in-law, Betty Smoke of Hot Springs, Margaret Walker of San Antonio, Barbara and Sam Buck of New York, New York, Diane Barsotti of Benton, Paula Jones of San Antonio and Kay Jones of Benton; nieces, nephews, extended family members and many good friends.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2020, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Social distancing directives will be in place with 66% capacity in chapel and face covering must be worn.
