Allen Brown

Rev. Allen W. Brown, 92, of North Little Rock died Thursday, January 21st, 2016. He was born September 22nd, 1923 in Nimrod, Arkansas to the late Wilbur and Blanche Scott Brown.
Rev. Brown was an Army Air Corp Veteran serving during WWII. He pastored numerous churches in Arkansas and Missouri including (but not limited to) Rose City Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Potosi, Missouri, Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in England, AR., Kellogg Valley Missionary Baptist Church and Lynch View Missionary Baptist Church both of North Little Rock, and East Side Missionary Baptist Church of Lonoke, AR.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris Marie Brown, his son Gene Brown, and Brother, Harold Brown. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Bihm (Elson) of Conway and Vicki Klutts of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dr. Stacey Klutts and Leslie Jubran; six great-grandchildren, and his brother, Boyce Brown (Mary Evelyn) of Little Rock.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: North View Missionary Baptist Church, 6801 J.F.K. Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 a.m., January 26th at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday the 25th.
