Allen "Buddy" Floyd Blair, 77, of Haskell passed away on Wednesday February 28, 2018 peacefully at home. Allen was born November 9, 1941 to the late Alton Sr. and Annie (Beardan) Blair in Sardis, Arkansas.
Buddy served his community as a police officer and retired as the police chief in Haskell, Arkansas. Spending time with his family and friends was Buddy's favorite moments. He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed the great outdoors. Travelling with family was a cherished pastime. He was outgoing and is remembered for aggravating as many people as he could.
Buddy is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Glenda; one son: Daniel Blair; two daughters: Loretta Burrus and Wanda Morgan; brothers: Alton, Jr., Alfred, Acie, and Albert Blair; and sister, Letha Caple.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Patricia Suarez of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren: Derrick Burrus, Tosha Harding, Nathan Kirtley, Buddy Blair, Catherine Burrus, Andrew Morgan, Helen Morgan, Zach Blair, Austin Pritchard, and Jessie Pritchard; four great-grandchildren; brother, Arlie Blair; two sisters: Linda Witham and husband Donny and Helen Pierce; daughter-in-law, Michelle Shelnutt; and a host of family and friends who love Buddy and will miss him always.
