Alice Dicus
Alice Jewel Dicus, 83, of Maumelle died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at UAMS Medical Center. She was born on December 23, 1925 to Sanford and Mattie Mae Norman.
Her deep faith in God allowed her to be a very loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She shared what she had, prayed for everyone, and always ended her conversation with God Bless You.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Smith, Maxine Dicus and Norman Dicus; grandchildren, Misty, Kristy, Brandy, Brian, Shane, Erika and Tyler; as well as eight great-grandchildren; and nieces, Shirley Morgan and Aileen Cockran. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters; and her baby, LaWanda.
The deepest appreciation to Erika Dicus for the love, care, and dedication to her grandmother and to UAMS staff, Patricia House, RN, Richard Morris, RN, Danny Evans, Casey Scales, Respiratory Care and Tina Patton, Rapid Response Team.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary (Men's Club), 7006 Jasna Gora Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
