Alice Dimple Cox, 86, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2022 at Robinson Nursing Center in North Little Rock. She was born August 19, 1936 in Mt. Vernon to Alva and Nova Rice. Dimple was a 1954 graduate of North Little Rock High School. A longtime resident of Central Arkansas, Dimple was an avid reader. Her vast selection of books could only be rivaled by her collection of glass figurines and jars. Dimple found joy through simple pleasures; her pet Chihuahuas, drinking Dr. Peppers, chatting on the phone, and watching golf, Nascar, and the Razorbacks on TV. Whether through her books or favorite shows, Dimple had an uncanny ability to know a little bit about everything. She took great pride in her dark black hair and long fingernails - always painted red.
Dimple is preceded in death by her son, Stuart Cox, and her parents. She is survived by her son, Boyd Cox (Sherrie), grandchildren Nick Cox and Katie Cooper (Tyler), and great granddaughter Lucy.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Robinson Nursing staff and Kindred Hospice for their care and support.
The family will host a memorial service on Wednesday, October 19th, 3:00pm, at Park Hill Christian Church, 4400 JFK Blvd, NLR, AR 72116
