Alfreda Hislip Clairday, age 80 of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. She was born on January 25, 1936 in Truman, Arkansas; she was the daughter of Coy Hislip and Amy Martin Hislip.
Alfreda was a registered nurse for Arkansas Mental Health for twelve years. She was a member of Ironhorse Church, ASPCA and enjoyed walking and reading.
She is preceded in death by Delmar Clairday (husband), Brian Simpkins (son), Kim Simpkins (daughter).
Survivors include sons Barry Simpkins and Bruce Simpkins and a special friend Lincoln Knight.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home Little Rock at 6400 Mabelvale Pike Little Rock, AR
Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR at 2:00 pm, Saturday
