Alfred Ellis
Pastor Alfred Earl Ellis, of Jacksonville, departed from this life on April 13, 2019 and we believe that he is in a far better place with God. Alfred Earl Ellis was born June 16, 1941 to the late Lonnie Sr. and Agnes Ellis. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marcia Noble and daughter, Karen Ellis Sims.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Juanita Ellis; two daughters, Phyllis Ellis and Danna Williams-Tillman; three sons, Darrell Ellis, Brian Robinson (Patricia) and LaVar Bates (Nicole); siblings Louis Ellis (Viola), Lonnie Ellis (Clara), Myrtle Nelson (Eddie), Lessie Snow (Leroy) and Doris Ellis. Extended family are his mother-in-law, Juanita Bates; brothers-in-law, Robert, George, Erskine and Stanley Bates of Birmingham, Alabama; sister-in-law, Barbara King; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday, April 19, from 6-7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Saturday, April 20 at 12 noon at the funeral home, followed by interment at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.
