Aletha Fae Colburn Higgins, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Her pride and joy was bringing her family together with amazing home cooked meals.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Lybarger ( Larry), son, Mike Higgins ( Christie), of North Little Rock, daughters, Becky Shrum, of Sherwood and Marilyn Lively ( Robert), of Springdale; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and nephews, Brian and Ken Colburn, of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Duane Higgins and son-in-law, Ray Shrum.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
