Albina Zionce

Albina Chudy Nosal Zionce, 94, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010. She was born June 19, 1915 in Marche, Arkansas to the late John and Anna Chudy. She was a faithful member of St. Mary's Church (NLR), and a member of the St. Mary's Christian Ladies. She was also a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Rosary Sodality for 81 years. She was a retired sales clerk from J.C. Penney. She loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens and enjoyed bingo and yard sales. She lived independently, maintaining her own household.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands Alois Nosal and Joseph Zionce, daughter Marie Weisenfels, sister Rosie Zajac, brothers Alex, Alois, August, Floyd, Frank and John Chudy. She is survived by children Florence (Hardy) Banks, Edward (Linda) Zionce, Sr., Carolyn Zionce RSM, Judy (Larry) Potter, sisters Sally Pruss and Susie Chwalinski, fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1516 Parker Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday followed with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19th at St. Mary's Catholic Church (on what would have been Albina's 95th birthday). Interment following the Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery (Marche). Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
