Albert "Tom" Wilkerson, 63, of Little Rock, passed away October 14, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 24, 1946 in Little Rock to Wesley and Opal Whitfield Wilkerson. Albert retired after 30 plus years of driving a concrete truck for Gilliam Brothers Concrete.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Tamara Pippin Wilkerson; daughter, Tami Wilkerson Wood (Randy); son, Randy Sarver, all of the Ferndale Community in Little Rock; grandsons, Luke and Jacob Wood; brothers, Freddy Wilkerson of Houston, Arkansas and Bobby Gene Wilkerson (Judy) of Little Rock; sisters, Ruby Pasado of Cabot and Teresa Black (Bobby) of Emmitt, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and his beloved dog, Missy. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patsy and brother, Danny.
Services will be held Saturday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Cross Point Church, 27020 Kanis Rd., Ferndale Community, followed by burial at Ida Mission Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
