Albert Salazar

Al Salazar, 75, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away January 28, 2025. He was born November 14, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Albert and Delfina Salazar.

Al is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Gabriel Salazar; and brother, Roy Salazar. He is survived by his son, Jamey Salazar; grandson, Garrett Salazar; and brother, Robert Salazar; along with a host of family and friends.

Al served in the United States Marine Corps for ten years. He was a Vietnam Veteran; serving two tours. Al was a life member of the VFW Post 9095 and a member of both the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles; he was also a “Turtle.” After the military, Al went on to work for Pontiac and Jacuzzi. He later retired after working more than 30 years at Orbit Valve. He will be greatly missed by his many friends.

Visitation will be held at 11:30AM on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street) with burial following at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00PM.
