Albert Johnson

Albert “AJ” Marvin Johnson Jr., 64, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on December 24, 2022. He was born on March 18, 1958 in Long Beach, California to Myrli Johnson and the late Albert Marvin Johnson Sr.

Albert served in the Marines for 11 years. After his military service he lived in Jacksonville, Arkansas with his family where he worked for Best Park/ Allright Parking for 33 years. He also ran the family sheep farm.  Albert also loved gardening, fishing, and napping.

Albert is survived by his mother, Myrli Johnson; sister, Marguerite Umholtz; four children and eleven grandchildren - Alana Anderson (Kira, Rachel, Juliet, Calvin), Amanda Johnson (Katelynn), Mayra Webb (Evelyn, Isaac, Penelope) and Raymond Johnson (Daisy, Raymond Jr., Rayna), as well as his beloved farm dog, Rufus.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) with a memorial service following at 12:00 PM.
