Aileen Marie Schubel, 86, of Little Rock, was called home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2014. She was born on December 30, 1927 in New York City to the late Edward and Marie Trainor.

Aileen's life was dedicated to her Lord and family. She was a devoted mother, cherished by her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Her compassionate nature and giving spirit were evident in all that she did.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward George Schubel; and brother, George Trainor. She is survived by her daughters, Aileen Marie Schubel and Christine Collins Gieringer (Bob) of Little Rock; granddaughter, Jessica Jeter (Jordan) of Fayetteville; grandson and great-grandson, Rob Gieringer (Marie) and Oliver Gieringer of Little Rock; and brothers, Edward Trainor (Jo) and Thomas Trainor (Barbara) both of New York.

The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Msgr. Francis I. Malone, will be held Friday, November 7 at 1:30 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, followed by interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
