She attended school in Jacksonville and later transferred to North Little Rock. She was scheduled to be a part of the 2022 graduating class.
From the very beginning, Ahava always took an interest in nature and animals, especially her guinea pigs Candy and Coco. Everywhere from going to zoos and parks, to playing in the backyard or just cruising around Lakewood lakes. She also loved family road trips to the northern part of the state, such as The Buffalo River, Ponca, and Eureka Spring. That is where her rock collecting obsession began. Eventually Ahava’s interests grew into gymnastics, where she attended Jacksonville’s Huff N’ Puff. Nataleah, her little sister, later joined her where they both learned new skills together.
Ahava was passionate about cooking and enjoyed the experience of being in the kitchen. It all started at age 9, where she started experimenting with Ramen Noodles or as she called them, “Small Noodles”. From that point on, her cooking journey evolved into much more. Her palette was very diverse, it ranged from steak and shrimp tacos, to wenchang chicken, which she always made with her dad, but Ahava’s specialty was spicy food. She was dedicated to her technique and skill when it came to her handcrafted meals.

Her first steps to reaching her goals were taking a business class and a metro class for culinary arts her senior year, where she recently received her certification. Towards the end of her last semester, Ahava devoted most of her time to planning her personalized menus, which were influenced by always watching cooking shows, cooking videos on youtube, and seeing Michael Pitts “Uncle Mikey” cook.
