Agnes Adelaide Bawiec Bargiel, 80, of North Little Rock, joined God her parents and brother on October 30, 2008 in Heaven. She was born on February 3, 1928, and recently celebrated 60 years of marriage with her husband, Floyd. Agnes was a beautiful, extraordinary, talented woman who owned and operated Community Bakery for many years. Her beautifully designed cakes were legendary. Agnes was also a great cook and loved to visit Oaklawn Park. Her deep faith in the Catholic Church showed every day of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and ?MiMi?.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, John and Stella Bawiec and her brother, Edmund. She is survived by a family who loved her, husband Floyd Bargiel, daughter Connie Bargiel Harkins and her husband Al, the joy of her life and only grandchild, William Tyler Prause, and her sisters Dommie Jaworski (Andy), Regina Skretkowicz (Joseph), Alma Strozyk (Frank) and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, November 3, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Little Rock celebrated by Father James West. Vigil and visitation will be held Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 4:00 P.M., at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:00 P.M. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery with Rev. Frank DuPreez officiating.
