Affelene Ashley Holt

Affelene Ashley Holt, age 70, of Hot Springs passed away, Saturday, January 30, 2021.

Affelene was born on November 30, 1950 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Les Ashley and Ruth Walters Ashley. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Douglas Ashley.

She was a Christian in her faith. Affelene loved to do crafts and she loved to talk to anyone and everyone. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Affelene is survived by her husband of 26 years, Kenneth Holt; two sons and daughter-in-law, Carl J. Cooper and Leslie D. and Latasha Harvey; her daughter and son-in-law, Angela M. and Floyd Willis; her ex-daughter-in-law, Shannon Dubois; 17 grandchildren and spouses, Jonathon, Ashley, Caitlyn, Brittany, C.J., Cody, Danielle, Mary, Christina, Jacob, Sarah, Tara, Isabella, William, Devon, Jaden and Ayden; five great-grandchildren, Heather, Madysen, Tianua, Tiatia, and Daniel; extended family members and many wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Bro. Richie Willis and Bro. Eric Capci officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are, Jacob Willis, Floyd Willis, Andrew Beal, Kenneth Holt, William Briner, Mat Dubois, Cody Willis, and the nurses and staff of the Med II Unit of National Park Hospital.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
