Adeline Schlapkohl Funk was born August 13, 1913 and went to be with her Lord on March 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martine, and grandson, Mike Blackwell. Adeline and Martine established Red Crown Cleaners and Laundry at 1101 Cumberland St. in 1939. She was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church and a long time member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League at First Lutheran and Christ Lutheran, and Adeline loved to play bridge.
She is survived by two daughters, Annette Blackwell (Buford) of Little Rock and Diane Berry (Wesley) of West Memphis; five grandchildren, Laurie Freeman (Eric) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Leslie Nelson (Guy) and Kristie Hadden (Joe), both of Little Rock, Lance Berry (Lisa) of Memphis, Tennessee, and John Berry (Donna) of Conway, South Carolina; ten great-grandchildren, Joel, Darby, Dustin and Jessica Freeman, Sydney and Ethan Nelson, Kate and Owen Hadden, Ruth Ellen Berry and Madison Berry. She is also survived by two dear sisters-in-law, Jody Funk and Vivian Funk. She will be missed by all her friends at Presbyterian Village.

There will be viewing from 11:00-5:00 on Monday, March 26, at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27 at Christ Lutheran Church, with Pastor Paul Biebighauser officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
