Addie Crawford of Little Rock, formally of Hot Springs went to be with her heavenly father on May 16, 2010. She was born in Ava, Arkansas on July 9, 1913 to Tandy Sims and Nannie Sims. She married James "Jim" Crawford in 1935. They were married for 54 years. She lived a long abundant life always surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She leaves behind a family legacy of faith and love. She worked at Craighead Laundry, in Hot Springs for over 50 years, retiring in the early 1990's. She has lived a very active and fun life.
She is survived by her daughter, Nan Howard, of Little Rock; grandson, Mike Howard and his wife Diana of Sherwood; granddaughter, Edie Twitty and husband Paul of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Dustin Howard of Sherwood, Abby and Hannah Twitty of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters, Jessie Cox of Plainview, and Faye Yates of Huntington, and her brother Herbert Sims of Steve.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct.(NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd), on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Nooner Cemetery in Perry County. Pallbearers will be, Mike Howard, Dustin Howard, Paul Twitty, Ronnie Crawford, Kenneth Crawford, and honorary pallbearer will be William Owens. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, AR 72210. The family will receive quests at the family home #2 Hogan Drive, Little Rock.
