Addie E. Denton Caddy age 92 of Arkadelphia, formerly of Manning and Leola, went to be with her Lord on June 12, 2009. She was born November 9, 1916 at Shady Grove near Sparkman, the daughter of George and Molly Porterfield Denton. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Addie loved her family, her church and farming. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years 6 months and 6 days, William Frank Caddy, a son-in-law Richard Seale, 5 sisters, 6 brothers, 3 half siblings and one granddaughter, Sheila Smith and a grandson Kevin Thomas.
She is survived by three daughters, Nadine Kendrick and husband Danny of Manning, Lavaughn Smith and husband Vance Smith Jr., Rita Edwards and her husband Jessie all of Arkadelphia, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the DeLamar Cemetery near Manning. Visitation will be Saturday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Matthew and Jeremy Bolt, Daniel and Brandon Seale, Lee and Greg Denton. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Rogers, Don Deaton and Kyle Berline.
