Aaron Dingler, age 88, of Glenwood, died Monday, April 16, 2012. He was born on September 3, 1923, at Dierks, the son of Alvin Dingler and Esther Dickerson Dingler. On December 18, 1945, he was married to Bernice Harding Dingler, who preceded him in death on October 14, 1994. He was a graduate of Kirby High School; owner and operator of Dingler's Welding and Radiator Shop; was a U.S. Navy Seabee in World War II; and for over 50 years was a member of IBEW. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Sharon Dingler of Daisy; two granddaughters, Tonya Vallee of Glenwood and Danielle Brown of Kirby; five grandchildren, Cole Edwards, Trever Edwards, Elijah Williams, Auburn Brown and Ronnie Brown; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Wilma Dingler of Kirby; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty Sue and Glen Self of Kirby; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 19, 2012, in the Glenwood Cemetery with Bro. Tony Hill officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be E. J. Johnson, Mike Jester, Trevor Edwards, Dean Cogburn, Curly Partee, Larry Vallee, Brady Epperson and Mich Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Oak Park Village, the nurses and staff of Glenwood Health and Rehab, Dr. Martin Koehn and the nurses and staff of Arkansas Hospice, 5th Floor of St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center, members of IBEW and his Seabee friends.
