A. Scott Pettit, 50, of Little Rock, passed away March 18, 2011. He was born in Little Rock to Kenneth A. and Joan Marshall Pettit, and was the owner of Pettit Communications. He was a graduate of the Police Academy and a former policeman with the White Hall Police Department. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Hardin and Wright-Pastoria fire departments. Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his mother, Joan Marshall Pettit; daughter, Brianne Reed and husband, Randall, Jr. of Woodlawn, Arkansas; brother, Allen Pettit and wife, Holly, nephew, Marshall Pettit and niece, Natalie Pettit, all of Little Rock. Services will be held on Friday, March 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 509 Scott St., Little Rock, officiated by Rev. Scott Walters and Rev. Kate Alexander, followed by interment at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.).
